The Golfyard

Welcome to the Golfyard!

Our franchise is big, motivated and unique! We have several teams in different leagues. Players from everywhere. Beginner teams and the best Teams in their league. We also got our own league!

The Beginning

It all began with a small team made out of Pubs players. As we brainstormed for a team name we came to the name: The Golfer's. Our thoughts behind that? Not many, but one of the reasons was that most hockey players are also good at golf. Fun fact: No one was ever sure if we call it "The Golfers" or "The Golfer's". While we played in the TSR League Dany wanted to have an B- Team. Except for him no one was really ready to do that but Dany did it anyways. As the Golfer's promoted to Challenger the Mini Golfer's formed.

The Downfall (or is it?)

In the late 2024 the Golfer's played Challenger but not as good as they hoped. It has been an "average" season not reaching the gauntlet. Most players left and the only players left were Honkish and Dany. As the new season was being prepared, Honkish decided to depart for now and Dany was left alone. Now Dany had to make a team alone and that didn't go well. The team departed before the real season even started and Dany had to pause The Golfer's for the first time. No Golfer's...

The Comeback

As Honkish helped Dany get some players The Golfer's came back and had another Challenger season. Eventhought half the team departed Dany was able to compensate the losses and still have an average Challenger season. More important tho is that The Bunker's who were the Mini Golfer's before made it to Play Offs and beside that 6 other teams formed!
